Fudgy Brownies

 Fudgy Brownies

Ingredients:

1 cup (225g) unsalted butter

1 1/4 cups (250g) granulated sugar

1 cup (200g) brown sugar, packed

4 large eggs, at room temperature

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour

1 cup (100g) unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup (170g) semi-sweet chocolate chunks or chips

Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8-inch square pan or line it with parchment paper for easier removal.

2. Melt Butter: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Set aside to cool slightly.

3. Mix Sugars and Butter: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Whisk until smooth.

4. Add Eggs and Vanilla: Add the eggs, one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.

5. Sift Dry Ingredients: Sift the flour, cocoa powder, and salt into the bowl. Gently fold these dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, which could lead to cakey brownies.

6. Add Chocolate Chunks: Fold in the chocolate chunks or chips, reserving a few to sprinkle on top if desired.

7. Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).

8. Cool and Slice: Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 15-20 minutes before slicing to get that nice fudgy texture.

Tips for Perfect Fudgy Brownies:

•Don’t overmix after adding the flour; this keeps them dense and fudgy.

•Check brownies a few minutes before the recommended time; each oven is different, and you don’t want to overbake

•For an extra decadent treat, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

Enjoy your fudgy brownies!💕
